About Me

My name is Diego Derman, I am a researcher currently working on functional brain mapping and developmental neuroscience. I specialize in solving big data and image processing problems through the use of Bayesian statistics and Machine Learning. My current projects consist of enhancing resting-state fMRI, modeling, and precision mapping approaches in early infancy. I am currently a PhD candidate working with Dr. Silvina Ferradal at Indiana University, Bloomington.

We have recently published a study on Imaging Neuroscience regarding Bayesian methods for individual brain mapping in infants. All my past and current project will soon be listed in the projects section.
