I am a member of the <a href=\"http:\/\/lambda.soic.indiana.edu\/\" target=\"_top\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Programming Language Group<\/a>, the Foundations of Computing Group, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.indiana.edu\/~iulg\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Program in Pure and Applied Logic<\/a>, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/qise.luddy.indiana.edu\">IU Quantum Science and Engineering Center (QSEc)<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Before that, I was affiliated with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cs.uoregon.edu\/\" target=\"_top\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">University of Oregon<\/a> (1995-2000), <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cs.chalmers.se\/\" target=\"_top\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Chalmers University<\/a> (1994-1995), <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cs.cmu.edu\/\" target=\"_top\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Carnegie-Mellon University<\/a> (1993-1994), <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cs.rice.edu\/\" target=\"_top\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Rice University<\/a>(1989-1993), <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eng.cu.edu.eg\/\" target=\"_top\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cairo University<\/a> (1981-1989), and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lasalle-eg.net\/\" target=\"_top\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">College de la Salle<\/a> (1978-1981).<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am a Professor of Computer Science in the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering&#8212;Bloomington, Indiana University.
